Regulation regarding attorney Disciplinary Hearing Officers and Regional Disciplinary Committee Members - Posted on July 27th, 2007 The Advisory Committee has adopted a regulation relating to attorney Disciplinary Hearing Officers and Regional Disciplinary Committee members. The regulation prohibits representation of those involved in disciplinary matters while serving. Regulation No disciplinary hearing officer or regional disciplinary committee member, who is an attorney, shall provide legal representation to anyone involved in any Missouri attorney discipline matter, regarding that matter. However, a member of a regional disciplinary committee may provide legal representation in a disciplinary matter on behalf of a regional disciplinary committee, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel, or both.
